hoc est corpus meum

Since Christ Himself has said, "This is My Body" who shall dare to doubt that It is His Body?

Hmmm, Matt 26:26, Mark 13:22, Luke 22:19 and, 1 Cor 11:24 all say, "hoc est corpus meum" for "this is my body." I'm looking at the Douay-Rheims and the Latin Vulgate side-by-side here: http://www.latinvulgate.com/ and my own copy of the Novum Testamentum Latine.

Maybe it's just that the "enim" is the substance of the consecration prayer.

In the Tridentine Mass, near the begining, the server responds "Quia tu es, Deus, fortitodoe mea et quare me repulisti et quare tristis incedo dum affligit me inimicus." Bat latinvulgate.com has it as "tu enim Deus fortitudo mea quare proiecisti me quare tristis incedo adfligente inimico."

Slight differences is all.

Regardless, I like your blog and have blogrolled you.
