paper for Intro to Catholic Theology

Belief in Jesus Christ:
A. First, provide a brief exegesis of Philippians 2:5-11. What is the primary truth of Christ that is being revealed in this passage?
B. Next, provide a brief summary of what the Vatican II document Sacrosanctum Concilium teaches about the reality of Christ. In what way does it elaborate upon what is revealed in the Philippians passage?
C. Offer a brief summary of numbers 456-570 in The Catechism. What is being affirmed in this section? How does it connect with what was treated in "A" and "B"?
D. Tie all of this together by reflecting on what contemporary American Catholics need to hear most about Jesus Christ from these sources.

6 pages, double-spaced

I could have picked "Belief in God" which would require Exodus 3:1-4:17, Dei Verbum, and CCC #205-231 or "Belief in the Holy Catholic Church" which would require Acts 2:1-42, Lumen Gentium, and CCC #781-945. But, I chose "Belief in Jesus Christ" because he is sort of the bridge between the two. I came to this conclusion BEFORE I realized that the passages required were shorter than the rest ;)

I'll post the paper when I'm done, it's due Mon Oct 10, Columbus Day or not!

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.
